Dunnellon - Mrs. Charlotte Maynard, 87, of Dunnellon, FL passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014. Charlotte was born on December 3, 1926 in Wayne, West Virginia to parents, Edward M. and Laura (Scarberry) Christian. She worked in a professional laundry as a shirt press operator for many years. Charlotte was a member of Living Waters Worship Center in Ocala and was known as being a powerful prayer warrior and an avid reader of God's word. She raised five children and was instrumental in raising her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Maynard; son, Raymond Lee Maynard; daughter, Erma Lea Sullivan; one granddaughter, one sister, two brothers, and two sons-in-law. She will be greatly missed by those who survive her, including her daughter, ***** Conner-Kint; son, ***** Maynard (***); daughter, ******** Myszkowski (****); six sisters, one brother, 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 noon on Monday, June 30th at Living Waters Worship Center, with service at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave, 7th Flr; New York, NY 10001 or by phone 1-866-232-8484.
