ALLISON - Randall D. Goddard, 47, of Allison died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2004, a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Memorial services will be Monday, Jan. 26, at 10:30 a.m. at the New Hope United Methodist Church in Dumont. There will be no visitation and inurnment will be at a later date. Rev. Terra Amundson will officiate the service.

Randall was born Nov. 20, 1956, at Charles City to Ralph and LaVonne (Duckworth) Goddard. He attended school in Charles City and graduated high school in Waverly. Randall owned and operated Country Side Welding in Allison until he went to work for Unverferth Manufacturing in Shell Rock. He was affiliated with the New Hope United Methodist Church in Dumont. Randall was a former member of the Dumont Lions Club and belonged to the Blacksmith and Welding Association of Iowa. He enjoyed renaissance activities, canoeing and playing paint ball with his children.

Survivors include sons Jonathan of Waverly, Eric of Allison, and Chase of Shell Rock; his parents Ralph and LaVonne Goddard of Mosinee, Wis.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
