Mr. Ronald L. Adcock, 68, of Bastrop, Louisiana, died Sunday, September 5, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Adcock was a native of Parkdale; a resident of Bastrop, Louisiana for the past 19 years and a former resident of Hamburg for many years. He was a retired welder and a member of the Gaines Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by a son, Ronald Gene Adcock in 2005; his parents, Winiford & Imogene Vail Adcock; seven brothers, Johnny Mike (Droopy), Gary Dean, Harold, Billy Wayne, Steve, Paul and Eddie Roy Adcock. He is survived by his wife, Martha Ferrell Adcock; three daughters, Tina Jones, Wendy Day and Angela Adcock all of Bastrop, Louisiana; a sister, Shirley Adcock Walker of Hamburg; a grandson, Aaron Adcock and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services and burial will be 2 p.m, Tuesday, September 7, 2010 in the Beulah Cemetery with Rev. Charles Pullin officiating. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Visitation will be 11-12Noon, Tuesday.
