George L. Harkness, 77. Harkness, long a familial figure about Belleville, died Sunday, and was buried here Tuesday afternoon after memorial services at
the Bachelor-Faulkner chapel. The aged man worked as a stone mason here for years, and laid most of the cement sidewalks in Belleville, many of which bear his imprint. A daughter, Mrs. Tom Reed of Boulder, Colo., survives.
