Margaret V. Riffe, 66, of Hurricane, formerly of St. Albans, died Jan. 13, 2002, in Thomas Memorial Hospital. She was retired after 20 years of service at South Charleston High School, where she worked as a teachers' aide. She attended West Alban Church of God. Mrs. Riffe was preceded in death by her husband, Olbert Riffe Jr.; son, Terry Riffe. She is survived by daughter, Penny Holt of Hurricane; sons, Mark Riffe of St. Albans, David Riffe of Colorado; mother, Bertha Weekley Jones of St. Albans; sister, Martha Waddell of Ohio; brother, Daniel Kendall of Ohio; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
