Donald R. Hansen, Sr., 68, died Sept. 14, 1996, of a stroke at his home in Rubidoux, Calif.
Mr. Hansen, was born in the township of Hansen, Wood Co., Wisc., the son of Anna [nee Olsen] and Christian Hansen. He married Patsy Trolinger on Oct. 25, 1946, in Carmichael, Calif.
They lived in Rubidoux for 41 years. He was a foreman at A.M. Lewis, Inc. in Riverside for 30 years, having retired in 1984.
He served in the U.S. Navy for one year as a seaman second class. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 28 and California Disability Rights Chapter 34, both in Riverside.
He enjoyed traveling and remodeling houses and trailers.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy; a daughter, Lee Ann Jobe; two sons, Donald Jr. and Allen Hansen; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Norman of Gurdon, Ark. and Alvin of Nekoosa, Wis.
Rubidoux Jurupa Valley Mortuary handled arrangements. His body was cremated.
