Louisville Courier-Journal--January 28, 2006

SALEM DEARINGER, ELLA VIRTNER, 98, passed away at 3 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2006, at Washington County Memorial Hospital. Miss Dearinger was born on July 16, 1907, in Taylorsville, KY, the daughter of David and Anna Shirley Dearinger. She was a retired employee of the old Textile Mill in Louisville, where she worked for 30 years. She was a member of Campbellsburg Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Cora Williams, and a nephew, Carroll Williams. She is survived by her nieces, Shirley Linzay (Jack) of Georgetown, IN, and Jeannine Hall (Donald) of Loogootee, IN; and nephews, James Williams (Margaret) of Orleans and Richard Williams (Pat). Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Weathers Funeral Home, with burial in Claysville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday until the time of the service.
