Mrs. Susan McDermitt, of Ashville, died at her home Thursday night after two. months' illness, due to advanced age. She was born at Ebensburg and spent practically her entire life in that vicinity. Her maiden name was Miss Susan Skelley. She was twice married, her second husband, John McDermitt dying about fifteen years ago. She is survived by these children: Mrs. Cornelia Sutton, this city; Mrs. Edward Ivory, Ashville; Miss Mary and William McDermitt, both at home. One sister, Mrs. King, of Ashville, also survives. The deceased was a member of St. Thomas Roman Catholic church, Ashville. Funeral services will likely be held Monday.
