SARAH JOHNSON
ROME - Mrs. Sarah L. (Fallon) Johnson, 85, who resided with her daughter, Mrs. Ralph Sexton of Churchville, died yesterday in Rome Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Forestport. She was married to Frank Johnson in 1905 in Whitesboro. He died in 1957.
She had lived in Verona for 30 years and also in Stittville.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Holy Cross Church, New London and its Altar Rosary Society..
She leaves thee daughters, Mrs. Lovell (Mary) Cummins of Blue Mountain Lake; Mrs. Grant (Anna) Akins of Verona and Mrs. Ralph (Clara) Sexton of Churchville; a son, William Johnson of Elkhart, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Clara Beck of Utica and a brother, Carl Fallon of Holland Patent. Two other daughter preceded her in death. They were Mrs. Marian (Bessie) Dennison who died in 1972 and Mrs. Leslie (Dorothy) Shaler who died in 1975.
The funeral will be Monday from the Sexton home in Churchville and Holy Cross Church. Burial will be in Townsend Cemetery, Stittville.
Arrangements are by the Griffin and Aldridge Funeral Home.
