Betty (Kinzie) Ballough, 86, of McKeesport, died peacefully Sunday, June 22, 2014, at home.

Born Oct. 5, 1927, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret "Peg" Koch Kinzie, and beloved wife of the late James Joseph Ballough.

She is survived by her loving children, James (Michelle) Ballough Jr., Michael (Amy) Ballough, Peg (Doug) Estelle and Susan (Greg) Pastor; a brother, Charles (Eleanor) Kinzie II; a sister, Ruth (the late Phillip) Tomasello; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Betty was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Duquesne, and dedicated her life to her children and her family, and was loved by all who had the privilege to know her.

Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the WILLIAM S. SKOVRANKO MEMORIAL HOME, Richford and Commonwealth Ave., Duquesne.

Prayers will be offered at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2014, in the memorial home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church with the Rev. Dennis Colamarino as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Mifflin.
