Irabelle "Mimi" Nash Graham, retired elementary school teacher, died Thursday, June 19, 2014. Mrs. Graham was born in the Dennis Community January 24, 1927 in Big Valley on the Brazos River. She graduated from Dennis High School in 1944. She decided early that she wanted to become an elementary teacher. She began in the fall of 1944 to pursue her dream. She received her associates of arts degree from Weatherford College, a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Wesleyan University and after teaching seventeen years she enrolled in North Texas University and during the summers received her master's degree. She taught school for thirty-six years all in Parker County Public schools.

Mrs. Graham was a member of Dennis Baptist Church, Parker County Retired Teachers Association and the Texas Retired Teachers Association.

She is survived by four daughters, Karen Nash Geny, Sharen Nash Culver, Holly Nash Marshall and Waekene Nash and numerous grandchildren.

A funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m., Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Buckner Cemetery.
