Ethel Volkert died on Sept. 6 in Milwaukee, Wis.
Ethel Koepp was born Nov. 16, 1922, at Ramona to William and Agnes (Stofferan) Koepp. She attended school at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. She married Ray Volkert in April 1953 at Junius. They lived in Madison for many years where she was manager of the Montgomery Wards Catalog Store. In 1966, they moved to Milwaukee. She worked as a secretary there until her retirement. Her husband died on Jan. 9, 1987.
Survivors include two sisters, Lenora Hulbert of DeSmet, and Dorothy (Leo) Bloker of Madison; a brother, Arthur (Alice) Koepp of St. Paul, Minn.; a sister-in-law, Ella Koepp of Waukeska, Wis.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Eugene and Harold Koepp; and a brother-in-law, Edwin Hulbert.
