Bobby Joseph Necaise, 37, Rt. 1, Box 555, Pass Christian, was pronounced dead at 1:15 am Monday on arrival at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport after being struck by an automobile on U.S. 49.
Mr. Necaise, a deckhand with the Guidry Marine Inc., Harvey, La., was born Oct. 02 1941, in Harrison County, son of the late Lembise "Frank" and Elvenia Cuevas Necaise.
He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a Catholic.
Mr. Necaise is survived by his wife, Mrs. Susan Necaise, one son, Robert Joseph Necaise; one daughter, Michele Marie Necaise, both of the Lizana Community; two brothers, J.C. Necaise of Lizana, and Marvin Necaise of Pass Christian; four sisters, Mrs. Verna Mae Ladner and Mrs. Barbara Ann Cuevas, both of Pass Christian, Mrs. Viela Ladner, Lizana, and Mrs. Florentine Edwards of Gulport; and one step sister, Mrs. Helen Ladner of the Dubuisson Community.
Friends may call Monday after 5 pm at the residence of Dorty Cuevas in the Standard Community.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at the residence with the Rev. Elvert Necaise, pastor of Bethany Baptist Church of Gulport, officiating. Burial will be in the Wolf Creek Cemetery in Hancock County.
