HOWARD McCLURE BLACK, 73, of Baltimore County, formerly of Hagerstown, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 1998, at St. Agnes Hospital, Baltimore. Born May 27, 1925, he was the son of the late Buford and Lizzie Comer Black. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary E. Black.
He was employed as a sheet metal mechanic with Westinghouse.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Black of Baltimore; one daughter, Marilyn F. Black; one stepdaughter, Christina Wessel; one son, Jeffrey A. Black Sr.; one stepson, Don Greenstreet; three grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Hubbard Funeral Home, Baltimore; graveside services were held in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.
