Daughter of Elston Force Palmer and his wife, Vena Rosecrantz of Bellevue, MI
"...Came to Shreveport I with her family in 1919 and married Charles Frost Bradford in 1920. They moved to his farm near Greenwood and for the next 71 years dedicated their lives to each other and their six children....
"she helped organize the first school for the mentally retarded in Shreveport and taught their several years. She was an avid historian and enjoyed genealogy. She was an active member of the Shreveport Chapter , Daughters of the American Revolution."
She was preced in death by her eldest son, Charles Frost Bradford, Jr. and her brother, Lyle G. Palmer, who died in 1964. Two grandsons, Melvin Bradford (Buddy) Frasier, and Duane Alan Dodd, also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, five children, nine grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren. Her twin sisters also survive her.
