Leona Marie Grimstad, age 83, Wittenberg, died Saturday, May 16, 1987 at the Homme Home of Wittenberg.
She was born September 23, 1903 in Scandinavia, WI, the daughter of the late Wilmar and Dorthea (Bestul) Nordahl.
On June 21, 1923 Leona was united in marriage to Arthur Grimstad in Merrill. He preceded her in death on November 29, 1978.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty Anderson, Anchorage, AK and one sister, Della Baker, Spokane, WA.
In addition to her husband and parents, Leona was preceded in death by one brother.
Funeral services were held May 18, 1987 at Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg. The Rev. Peter Gundersen officiated. Interment was in Redeemer Lutheran Cemetery, Wittenberg.
