Marvin J. Marshall, 83, Carmel, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 15, 2004, with his family at his side.

He was born June 10, 1920, a son of George Claude Marshall and Estella Lucetta Farnworth Marshall.

His loving wife of 53 years Teresa Marshall, children Liza, Vernon, Carlyle, Bren, grandchildren Jennifer, Emily Sean, Shannon, and great-granddaughter Kirstie all survive him.

He was a teacher for 39 years and received recognition for his contributions as a leader in the Deaf Community. Marvin was diagnosed as having ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease).
