Louise graduated from high school at the age of 16. She received a special award for her typing ability, which was an astounding 120 words per minute on a manual typewriter! During World War II, she worked for the U.S. Army at Fort Holabird, in Baltimore, and was one of the first to learn of the German surrender in 1945, which came across the headquarters teletype. After the war, she went to work for the Baltimore Jaycees, and held the position of executive secretary for 40 years, after which she retired. She never married. Louise passed away while she was a patient in St. Joseph Hospital in Towson, MD. Mother and father listed are her biological parents. She was raised by her father's sister, Caroline, and her husband after her mother died in early 1919 from the Spanish Flu pandemic.
