Ervin J. Musial, 68, 1111 S. Baird St., died Thursday morning, Dec. 21, 1989, at his home. He was born Feb. 26, 1921 in Manitowoc, to the late John and Catherine (Jagodinski) Musial. On June 19, 1945 he married Angeline O'Konski at Holy Rosary Church in Kewaunee.
Ervin served for 15 months in the South Pacific as bombardier with the U.S. Air Force, and was award the Air Medal with 2 Oak Leaf clusters, Asiatic Pacific ribbon with 4 battle stars, and Philippine ribbon with star. After discharge, he served with the Army Reserve for 20 years prior to his retirement as a Major in March 1985.
He had worked at Milprint, Inc. for 34 years prior to his retirement, and treasured the time he spent gardening, golfing, and relaxing in his woods.
Survivors include his wife, Angeline, and seven children,
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Harry, Anthony, Daniel, and Norbert.
