Glen Dale Kelley, son of Edward F. and Mabel Fisher Kelley. was born April 11, 1916, in Republic County and died at the Republic County Hospital in Belleville at the age of 65 years and 12 days.
He received his education at the Odell school and the Belleville High School. He was united in marriage to Loretta M. Lewellyn Sept 30, 1939, and to this union four children were born.
He spent his entire life in Republic County except for two years that he spent in California. He was engage in farming and was employed by the Kravmore Service for several years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife in 1971. He is survived by his three sons: Jack, Gary, and Keith; one daughter, Mrs. Don (Patrica Ann) Towle; one brother, Frank of Fresno, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lewellyn of Scandia, Mrs. Dale (Margaret) Doggett of Belleville; nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held April 25 at the Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Memorial Chapel of Belleville conducted by the Rev. Mark Somerville. Interment was in Belleville cemetery.
