William graduated from South Cache High School. He served two years in the United States Army. He married the love of his life, Sharilyn Cooper, on May 2, 1964, and were later sealed
in the Logan LDS Temple.
William worked at the Army Depot in Ogden Utah until it closed and then moved to Hill Air Force Base to finish his career in 1988. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by his wife and five children; thirteen grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his Father Clarence, his mother Martha, brothers Charles and Stanton, and two grandchildren.
