Obituary - National Road Traveler, Cambridge City, Indiana; Thurs 1 Dec 1955:
Connersville - Thomas M. Stinson, 77, 617 Washington, died about 8 a.m. Tuesday in Fayette Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing health several years.
Mr. Stinson was a carpenter by trade and his last employment, with Roots-Connersville Blower, ended in 1949. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and Modern Woodmen of Connersville.
Besides his wife, the former Blanche Dale, whom he married in 1903, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Shubert Tate of Connersville, and Mrs. Mary Alice Gardner at home; a grandson; two brothers, Earl of Richmond and Richard of Philomath; five sisters, Mrs. Minnie Wycoff of Richmond, Mrs. Inez Kaucher of Centerville, Mrs. Clara DeHays of Germantown, and Mrs. Kate Terry and Bessie LaFuze of Phoenix, Ariz.
Rites are being held at 2 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Ray Montgomery officiates and burial will be in the family plot at Dale cemetery.
