Mrs. Linda Faye Boone Hoppa, better known as "Mooky", died Saturday June 14, 2014, at St. Joseph Hospital in Marshfield, Wis., at the age of 67 years. Mooky was born May 13, 1947 in Cooter and was a graduate of Cooter High School.
She was of the Pentecostal faith and a retired certified nursing assistant, having retired fro the Portage County, Wis., nursing facility. Linda Faye loved dancing, singing, canning and, most of all, serving our precious Lord and Savior.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Graple and Clifton Boone; two brothers: Freddie L. Boone and Timmy L. Boone; and her niece, Marilyn Haviland.
She leaves behind two daughters: Debbie Varga and her husband, Tim, of Bancroft, Wis., and Lisa Semmons and her husband, Andy, of Plainfield, Wis.; one son, Marvin McCracken of Plainfield; six grandchildren: Curtis Varga Brandon Jagodzinske, Bryan Hill, Betro and her husband, Bob, of Stevens Point, Wis., Dorothy Boone and Joyce Burse and her husband, Art, all of Plover, and Angie Hinklin and her husband, Donnie of Cooter; One brother: Larry Boone and his wife, Mary Ann, of Cooter; and a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the John W German Funeral Home Chapel in Steele with Mr. Kyle Rhea conducting the services. Interment was in Mount Zion Cemetery with Dewayne Boone, Greg Boone, Joey Boone, Scott Boone, Jonathan Boone and Corey Hinklin serving as pallbearers.
