Esther May Adams, age 86 of Covington, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014. Esther was born in Bradford on April 4, 1928 to the (late) Glenn Exman & Lova (Gorman) Exman Bashore; a graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1946; a homemaker and farmer's wife; was a room mother when her children were in school; previously worked at Miami County Dairy, Covington, Winans, Piqua, Gerlach's Garden Center, Piqua; volunteered with the Republican Party and worked election poles for many years; member of the Greenville Creek Christian Church; Miami County Homemakers; a former member of the Covington Spitfyres; Tuesday Night Bowling League; Covington Eagles Aerie #3998; and was an avid card club member. Preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Chad Adams; sister, Dorothy Wion; and half-brother, Wayne Bashore. Esther is survived by her husband of 67 years, Maurice Lee "Mose" Adams; her children and their spouses, Larry Lee & Alana Adams of Ft. Wayne, IN, Kathy & Joel Miller of Covington, Kenny & Connie Adams of Covington, Annette & Tom Francis of Ft. Loramie; seven grandchildren, Jodi Adams of Delaware, OH, Lucas Moyer of Arcanum, Brandon & Christina Moyer of Oak Harbor, WA, Brittany Adams of Covington, Logan & Jessica Adams of Ft. Bragg, NC, Cletus & Holly Francis of Piqua, Sara & Brian Lawson of Sidney; 14 great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Olivia, Keelin, Zoey, Eva, Austin, Allison, Madison, Mckenzie, Caiden, Kendale, Logan, Carter, & Cadence; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral service 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at the Bridges-Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Covington. Interment Highland Cemetery, Covington. The family will receive friends from 4-8 P.M.
