Perry Gattis, 47, ended his battle against ALS on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005.
Funeral: 9 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, Irving. Burial: Citizen Cemetery, Clarendon.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established for his children at Wells Fargo Bank of Grapevine.

Mr. Gattis was born May 16, 1957, in Amherst, the son of Tommy and Mary Ann Gattis. He owned and operated Gattis Air Conditioning and Electric Co. of Grapevine for 20 years. Perry was a devoted leader and member of Boy Scout Troop 508.

Survivors: 1 daughter and 1 son of Irving; mother of Grapevine; sister and brother-in-law of Hereford; and loving aunts, cousins, nieces, co-workers and friends.
