Mark F. Bosley, 82, of Independence, MO, passed away at MCI Hospital. A lifelong Catholic and Democrat, Mark graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in horticultural sciences. He was a WWII veteran who served in Okinawa, receiving a Purple Heart. Mark enjoyed his profession of many years as a horticulturist for Chemagro Corporation and Worlds of Fun. Mark fed his curiosity about the world through his voracious reading habit. He was a sports fan who enjoyed following football, baseball, basketball, tennis and golf. In his years of retirement, he enjoyed traveling, playing bridge, ballroom dancing, and gardening. Mark will be missed by all of his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents David and Frances (Ruckowski) Bosley, brother David Bosley, and wife Frances (Lehnert) Bosley. Survivors include his wife Doris Bosley, 4 daughters, 3 sons, 4 grandchildren, a brother, and a sister.
