Vernon L. Fedewa New Lothrop, Mich. Went up to reside with our merciful Lord on March 28, 2014. Vern was born and raised in Chesaning, Mich. on Feb.24,1921. He and Rosemary opened the family business, known as "Fedewas" party store for 32 years. Vern was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also the second village president of New Lothrop. He loved golfing and traveling with family and friends. Vern was also a huge Detroit Tigers fan. He loved to watch them during his winters in Florida.He is survived by his wife Rosemary (Kline). His 2 children: John Fedewa, New Lothrop, Julie (George) Brown, Pagosa Springs, CO. His son James Fedewa passed away in 1970. 2 infant daughters have also passed away. Also survived by his 3 grand sons: Jarred Fedewa, Alex Fedewa and Mason Brown. Vern's sister Marian Bishop and his brother Bernard Fedewa. His 4 sisters and 2 brothers have passed away. Vern has been cremated. A Memorial Mass will take place on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 11:00 am at St.Michael Church of Maple Grove. Rev.Fr. Nicholas Coffaro will officiate.
