Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Ringgold, LA. Visitation will be at Rockett Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Rex was born May 14, 1963 in Los Angeles, CA. and passed away June 13, 2014 in Minden, LA.
He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. Rex adored his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rex and Cora Sanders, two sisters and brother, Gary Sanders. Left to cherish his memory include his wife, Donna Barnett; sons, Rex A. Sanders, Jr. and wife, Jessie. Spencer Kellogg and William Barnett, Jr., daughters, Crystal Clary and Amanda Cook and husband, Dustin; brother, Joseph "Blue" Sanders; sisters, Teresa Page, Carmin Anderson, Debra Mathis, Loretta Tolle, Pamela McDaniel, and Beronica Robertson; grandchildren, Xander, Kyrin, Bianka, Cannan, Evie, Savannah, Gage and Faralinn; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Robertson, Randy Price, Randy Baldree, David Hadley, Scott Lewis, and Harley Freeman. Honorary pallbearers will be Rex Sanders, Jr., William Barnett, Jr., Spencer Kellogg, and Erie Page.
