Deneen Kay Ames Lopez passed away unexpectantly at the age of 40. Deneen loved being with her family and friends. She was very active with her son's sports. She loved to read, and enjoyed her work. Survivors include her beloved husband, Frank Lopez; two sons, Matthew R. Brown and Bryan S. Lopez, both of Elko; mother, Rae Ann Overholser, of Elko; father, Clark Lee Ames, of Mesa, Ariz.; grandmother, Millie McCarley, of Lamoille; sisters, Darla (Matt) Diaz, of Boise, Idaho, Debbie (Brian) Emge of Elko, Dina (Allan) Einboden of Elko; and brother, Jack L. (Mutsumi) Ames of Mesa. She had many nieces and nephews, one great-nephew and the light of her life (Cydnee), her great-niece.
She was preceded in death by her stepson, Bobby Lopez and grandfather, O.T. (Trim) McCarley.
