• • Born Jan. 7, 1897, in Copenhagen, Denmark, she came to the United States when she was a young child. She was a young child. She was the widow of Frank C. Young, a pioneer Portland lumberman. She was a member of the Central Bible Church.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Riverview Cemetery Chapel. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Sartwell and Gladys Stephens, both of Seattle, and Mrs. Howard Pellon of Oakland; a son, John D. Young of Portland; two sisters Emma Davis of Burlingame, Calif., and Christine Donaugh of Vancouver, Wash.; a brother, Frank Anderson, of Bakersfield, Calif.; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
