On May 10, 1968 in Villajuarez, Mexico he married Evangeline Sanez who preceded him in death on January 29, 2014.
Guadalupe worked for 30 years at Washington Hospital in Fremont, California and retired as the Maintenance Supervisor.
In 1994 the Acuna family moved from San Jose, California to Sutherlin, Oregon. Guadalupe enjoyed gardening, going for walks and woodworking. He was a member of the Church of Christ, Sutherlin.
Survivors include his daughters Martina Acuna and Alma Acuna both of Sutherlin, Oregon; a brother Richard Acuna of Chico, California and 2 granddaughters Ohana and Isabella that where his pride and joy.
Guadalupe was also preceded in death by his sisters Gloria Godinez, Minnie Lara and Evelyn Price and brothers Ernie, Robert and Tony Acuna.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Church of Christ, Sutherlin. Inurnment will follow within the grounds of Valley View Cemetery.
