Beloved husband of Mrs. Martha Gray Akers, father of Mr. Alan Kent Akers, grandfather of Alan Kent Akers, Jr. Also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Mr. Akers is at the Houghlin Funeral Home, Main St. in Bloomfield, where services will be held Sunday, Feb. 15 at 3 p.m. with internment in Maple Grove Cemetery. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Heart Association.
