FAY M. BRINK, 89, of 113 Lewis St., Sayre, formerly of Litchfield died unexpectedly on Sunday March 19, 1989 at the Tioga General Hospital. Born Nov. 9, 1899 in Litchfield, he was the son of Fred and Ida Munn Brink. Mr. Brink owned and operate a farm in Litchfield for many years and served as the Litchfield highway superintendent and secretary for over 30 years. Mr. Brink was a member of the historical society of Towanda and the Waverly Moose Lodge No. 1490 for over 50 years. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Barbara) Jackson of Tacoma, Wash.; five grandchildren, Laura Hough, Linda Kenyan, Michael Jackson, Brenda Jackson and Lois Sobus. He was predeceased by his wife, Delores in 1983. Friends may call at the Jenkins Funeral Home, 111 S. Main St., Athens on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held there on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Robert Rice, pastor of the Waverly Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 515 S. Main st., Athens. –Towanda Daily Review
