Adelia, was my great-grandmother, mother to my grandfather Harry L. Milster. Her father was Elias Barber, birth, N.C. Her mother was Betsy Ross, birth, S.C.

Mrs. Adelia Barber Milster, wife of Charles Milster, died at her home in Chaonia Saturday following a lingering illness, she having been bothered with heart trouble for several years.
Deceased was well known in Wayne Co., and neighboring counties. The Milster family resided in Greenville many years, prior to their moving to Chaonia several years ago. It was while residing here that Mrs. Milster endeared herself to a large number of friends, who remembered her for her many acts of kindness, and her loyalty to her family. She was a Christian in every sense of the word and took an active part in the affairs of her church. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She was married to Charles Milster December 28, 1869 and had been a resident of Wayne County for 56 years, she having come here from Perry County. She had passed the 78th milestone and her age at the time of her dead was 78 years, 11 months and 27 days.
Her remains were brought here Sunday from Chaonia and conveyed to the Christian Church were the services were conducted by Rev. G. A. McFarland. Following the services at the church the body was taken to the Hickman Cemetery where interment was made.
Deceased is survived by her husband, Charles Milster and several children, these being Ben A. Milster of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Frank Milster, Granite City, Ill., Fred Milster, Denver, Colo., John Milster, Greenville, Mo., Harry Milster, St. Louis, Mo., Luther Milster, Chaonia, Mo., Mrs. Maude Pettit of Hollywood, Calif.
