George Pringle was the son of William Pringle and Hannah Seely. He was born in Canada after his parents had immigrated from Scotland. George married Mary Johnston Brown on June 23, 1851. To this union were born seven children: David, Elizabeth Campbell, Janet Robina, Margaret Helen, Thomas Brown, Mary Georgina and Marion Christina. When Mary died he married Barbara Elder, dau. of George Elder and Barbara Smith, on Feb 26, 1873 in Hinchinbrooke. To this union were born four more children: William Walker, John Alexander,Thomas Edmund Peter and George. George died on May 1, 1926, at the age of 81, here in Hinchinbrooke, after a very full life.

05-31-1938 Georgina Pringle, beloved wife of William J. Walch, died at Huntington Québec, age 72 years. Funeral from St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. She was the fourth daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Pringle, Wilton Hill Farm, there were several members of the family, surviving are Mrs. J. W. Starr, Miss M Pringle, and Mr. T. B. Pringle. MrsWalch was born on October 1865, she was united in marriage with Mr. W. J. Walch on January 09, 43 years ago. Funeral conducted by the Rev. J. B. McLean, D.D.
10-19-1938 William Walker Pringle, died suddenly at Dewittville Québec, age 65 years. He is survived by one brother, Mr. T. E. P. Pringle of Boston MA.
