Aged Resident of North Rock Street Claimed by Death Mrs. Mary Fitzpatrick. 80. a native of Ireland, died this morning at 4:00 in her home at 421 North Rock Street, where she lived with a daughter, Miss Margaret Fitzpatrick. Death was due to a complication, following an illness of several years. Mrs. Fitzpatrick, widow of Michael Fitzpatrick, was born February 19, 1868, in Ireland. Soon after her marriage in Ireland to Michael Fitzpatrick, the couple came to the United States and settled in Shamokin. Mr. Fitzpatrick died 28 years ago. Mrs. , ! de-; i I Fitzpatrick was a member of St. Edward Church. Surviving are three! daughters, Miss Margaret and Mrs. James Madden. Shamokin. and Mrs. Mary No-vack. FRIENDS HONOR MRS. MARY FITZPATRICK ON HER BIRTHDAY The home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Novack, of 1021 West Fern street, was the scene of a delightful surprise party held in honor of the latter's mother, Mrs. Mary Fitzpatrick, who celebrated her sixty-eighth birthday. Mrs. Fitzpatrick received many use ful and costly gifts from her friends. A sumptuous chicken dinner was served after which the guests were entertained. Those In attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fitzpatrick and daughter, Margaret, and son, Robert, Mr. and Mrs, James R. Madden and daughters, Agnes. Eileen and Kath-ryn, and sons, James and William, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Novack and sous, Francis, Edward, John and Victor, Mrs. Margaret Reichold, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Fitzpatrick and sons, Edward and Donald, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bu-shinskl and daughter, Mars', Enoch Scoviak, Mrs. Alice Woushuskl, John Schaschech, of Trevorton. Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. John Fitzpatrick and son, Richard, of New York, Mrs. Mary Caul, of Brooklyn, and Mr. and Mrs. L. Rooney, of New York City.
