A good high school classmate, all around nice guy. Gary died at 19 after being in Viet Nam one month.

Pfc. U.S. Army, Vietnam War-Pfc. Price was killed in action by small arms fire on 5-6-1967 while serving near Plieku as an Infantryman {11B20} with Co. B of the 3rd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Division. Pfc. Price started his tour of Vietnam on April 6, 1967. He lasted one month.

He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Vern T. Price of Route #1, Plainview, Illinois.

Awards: Purple Heart Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal.
