NOTE: I have found with the help of Helen McKeown of Ohio County, Kentucky a Newspaper Obituary on James Alexander in the Hartford Republican and this is what it said:
Mr. Alexander Baird, known as "Perd Alec" died in Owensboro on Sunday and his remains were brought here and buried in Alexander Burying Ground on Monday.
I have his death certificate and it lists his burial place as Beda, Ohio County, Kentucky. All of James' kinfolk are buried in Alexander Cemetery.
Married 1st to Susan Shaver on January 1, 1861, Ohio County, Kentucky. Her burial place is unknown.
Married 2nd to Mary Adaline Talley on March 14, 1875, Hartford, Ohio County, Kentucky.
James Alexander & Mary Adaline Baird's 1st born child was Tabitha Nancy Baird, born 1877 Ohio County, Kentucky and died 1919 in Colorado. She married Theodore Crittenden Burton on December 14, 1905, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri. They had 2 daughters, Esther & Helen.
Their 2nd child was John Wayne Baird my Great-Grandfather.
