Pat will be remembered as a kind hearted person who loved the Lord and was true to his word and her church. She will be remembered and missed by her Sunday School class "Rebecca" at Midway Baptist Church and her many friends from Young At Heart group.
She was a simple sweet lady with a huge heart who never had a harsh word to speak of anyone, never bothered anybody and was always available to help in any way during any crisis that arose at the church or in the community, from making a dish for the family of loved ones that had passed away to helping "Meals On Wheels" and her favorite times were spent helping during Vacation Bible School at Midway. Having never ;earned to drive she had many loyal friends who would go out of their way to make sure she got to church, even if she had to call them to remind them. To those people her family is forever grateful.
Pat's sisters, Sandra, Linda, Joyce and brother Bobby would like to thank everyone who assisted in her brave journey from Golden Living to Anderson's Hospital to the ER, doctors, nurses, and others who took part in her care who tried desperately to help her. Everyone at Regency and Dr. Holmes who tried his best to help her survive the illness that had gone untreated for some time. Her sisters and brother know that everyone involved in her care and people who knew her did not always understand what they went through to get her the medical attention and care she deserved and how they fought every step of the way. To those people they want them to know it was worth all the battles and heartache just to see that smile of hers.
To anyone who reads this, please remember Pat with a smile and be thankful she passed through your life and know she is at home with her Lord.
