Allen Don "Dough Belly" Quinney was born in Lexington to Fady Dean and Mollie Gertrude (Muston) Quinney. He served in the U.S. Navy as a cook during the Korean War. The former Wanda Jane Clare and he became husband and wife on February 16, 1952. Professionally he was a welder with TXU Energy, but "Dough Belly" loved ranching and racing greyhounds. He was a member of the National Greyhound Association. He enjoyed knives, beef jerky, and just visiting and telling stories. "Dough Belly" was known for "doing it big" and "his way". He always helped others and especially loved his grandchildren. He was a life-long member of the Methodist Church.
