Final rites for James Addison Smith, 65, of Grassy Meadows, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the McElhenny Presbyterian Church at Grassy Meadows, with the Rev. Roy B. Kessler in charge. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Smith was found dead at his home Friday. Death was atrributed to natural causes.
Born Dec. 12, 1906, he was a son of the late Jake and Betty Clingman Smith, and was a retired farmer and veteran of World War II.
Surviving are two sister, Mrs. Ella Forren, Meadow Bridge, and Mrs. Nancy Bailey, Nitro, and three brothers, Ben, Lawrence, and Edward, all of Rainelle.
The body will remain at Smathers Funeral Home, Rainelle, where friends may call after 2 p.m. today and taken to the church one hour prior to the funeral.
