Paul J. Boudreau Sr., 76, of 24 Richard Road, an avid golfer, formerly of Northbridge, died Friday night in Marlboro Hospital after an illness.

Paul Joseph Boudreau Sr (1917-1994) was one of the three sons of Walter P Boudreau and Stella E Blanchette Boudreau of Northbridge, Worcester, Massachusetts. Other two siblings are Raymond L Boudreau, and Ernest J Boudreau

Paul J Boudreau Sr married Dorothy Mary Flinton on 25 July 1941 after serving in the Navy on the ship Indianapolis (CA-35), in the late 1930 to beginning of 1940 during World War II. From this union, they had three sons, Paul Jr, Richard "Dick" (1945-1992), and Gary Boudreau. (1948-1989).

He leaves his wife, Dorothy (Flinton) Boudreau; a son, Paul J. Boudreau Jr. of Grafton; two brothers, Ernest Boudreau of Northbridge and Raymond Boudreau of Grafton; five grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Linwood, son of Walter and Stella (Blanchette) Boudreau, and lived here 31 years. He graduated from Northbridge High School in 1934.

Mr. Boudreau was a technical writer at Raytheon Co. in Wayland before he retired. He previously served 22 years in the Navy, retiring as a chief yeoman. He was a former member of the Marlboro Country Club.
