Lillian A. Linke, 96, of Venice, FL passed away June 7, 2014. She was born June 14, 1917 in New York City, New York. Lillian retired in 1977 and moved to Florida that same year from Lagrangeville, NY. She settled in the Englewood/Venice area in the early 1980's. Lillian was a member of the Lakeside Lutheran Church in Venice.

She is survived by her children, Howard C. (Charlotte) Linke of North River, NY and Marilyn (Howard Jr) Mack of Venice, FL; 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Howard Linke on December 28, 2002.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am till 11:00am, Wednesday June 11, 2014 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 1935 S Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL 34293. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev Randy Winkel officiating. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Englewood.
