From the 8/22/1933 Van Wert, Ohio, Daily Bulletin: "E.A. Acheson, of Waynesfield, member of one of the best known families in Van Wert county, died this morning in the Memorial hospital at Lima. Mr. Acheson was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Acheson, was a native of Willshire, and a dealer in livestock for a number of years in that locality. His survivors include his wife and six children, of Waynesfield, one sister, Mrs. Logan Wolfe, of Willshire, and three brothers, Ira L. Acheson, of Woodland avenue, Ward Acheson, of Willshire, and Charles Acheson, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The deceased was 63 years of age. The funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock, at Waynesfield. Interment will be made in Woodland cemetery in Van Wert, with a brief service at the grave."
