Mr. Wolpert moved to Canada as a young child and attended schools there. He moved to Lodi in 1943. He was a carpenter, specializing in homes and commercial buildings. He worked on numerous overpasses and bridges on Highway 99.
He was a member of the local carpenter's union and Emanuel Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard C. and Paul H. Wolpert; and a sister, Johanna Wolpert.
Mr. Wolpert is survived by two brothers; and three sisters.
