Mrs. Marie McKenzie, age 86, died on Monday, March 20, 1978 while visiting her daughter in Lexington, North Carolina. She had lived at 4402 Herrick Lane, Madison, and was formerly of the Hollandale area. She was born on January 3, 1892, the daughter of Paul Paulson and Kistina Knutson. On June 16, 1917, she married Maxwell McKenzie, and he died on February 19, 1943. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Jacob (Marian) Larsen of Lexington, North Carolina, Mrs. A. James (Alice) Whitford, Marinette, Wisconsin, Mrs. Herbert (Edith) Lindokken, Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin and Mrs. Irving (Carol) Larsen, Madison; a son, Burt McKenzie, Hollandale; 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Leonard Paulson, Hollandale.
