Spoken of always as Wiley, the decedent was a frequent visitor in Redding where he had a wide circle of friends and acquaintance. He was retired by the company on a pension on account of his falling health. He had served the Southern Pacific for forty-one years and on the Shasta Division for twenty-four years. Wiley was born March 7, 1866 in Centreville, Humboldt County, California.
