Jasper Grant Wiley, who for years was Superintendent of Bridges and Tunnels on the Shasta division of The Southern Pacific, passed away In Dunsmiuir on Tuesday morning, at the age of 63 years. Spoken of always as Wiley, the decedent was a frequent visitor in Redding where he had a wide circle of friends and acquaintance. He was retired by the company on a pension on account of his falling health. He had served the Southern Pacific for forty-one years and on the Shasta Division for twenty-four years. Wiley was born March 7, 1866 in Centreville, Humboldt County, California.
