Albert Alonzo Goans, 83, died Sunday, April 23, at his home south of Lebanon after a lingering illness.
Funeral services were held at White Oak Pond Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday conducted by Rev. W. A Burney of Mountain Grove. Burial was in the cemetery there under direction of Holman Funeral Home.
He leaves his wife, Mary of the home; four daughters, Mrs.Eva DeVasure of Tekamah, Nebraska, Mrs. Ruth Hawkins of Lebanon, Mrs. Emma Layman of Orla, Mrs. Laura Chrisman of Grand View; two son Howard Goans of Lebanon and Don Goans of Oakland.
There are 20 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren in the family.
