Born in London, England, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Phoebe Smith.
Lily joined the Women's Land Army in England during World War II where she met her late husband, Clayton Boorse, at a USO dance.
She was the loving mother of Albert Boorse (Judy) of Lansdale; sister of Alan Smith (Diane) and Evelyn Hillman of England; grandmother of Steven and Brian Boorse, and Bill Grichin. She also is survived by five great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, June 13, in The Decker Funeral Home, 216 York Road, Warminster, where friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
