Irene Chapman

Irene Chapman, 62, of Salem, died Sunday, August 13, 1995. She is preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Dillon.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Chapman; children, Cheryl Ball, Williamson, W. Va.; Billy David Chapman, Kingston, N.C., Terry Rubenstein, Fairfax, Tina Cross, Elkins, W. Va., Jenny Anderson, Salem; eight grandchildren; sisters, Cora Layne, Roanoke, Deloris Fuller, Charleston, S.C.; brother, Jerry Samson, Cinn., Ohio.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon Monday at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home Salem, with the Rev. Paul Alwine officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Kentucky. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice.
